Lauren received her Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University in Interdisciplinary Health Services with a pre-med concentration. She is currently continuing her education at Florida Institute of Technology working towards a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Practice while completing her practicum and fieldwork at Blossom.
Lauren has been working with individuals with autism since 2012 where she created her own 2-year independent study in high school working with adolescents with special needs. She worked as a Behavior Technician for many years and became a Registered Behavior Technician while working at Blossom. From then on, she always knew she wanted to work with children and support them with their social skills development, language acquisition, self-help strategies and development of daily living skills.
She loves how Blossom incorporates collaboration between all disciplines with an individualized naturalistic approach unique to each child. She enjoys seeing the growth the children make each day in the natural environment and the continuing support the children and families receive each day.
In Lauren’s free time she enjoys being out on the lake in the summer, spending time with family, being with her 2 dogs, and loves her coffee.
